The season typically starts August 1st with practices.  The first few weeks practices are help Monday – Friday.  Once school starts practices are held Tuesday thru Thursday.  Times of practices vary by age group and field availability.
Where is the practice?
Practice is held either at Ladue High School or the Ladue Middle School
Does my kid have to attend all practices?
We understand that kids can participate in multiple sports and it may not be feasible to attend every practice.  It is very important for your child to attend as many practices as possible to learn the safe way to play football.  It is also important to learn the plays in order to keep everyone safe.
Are there try outs?
There are not tryouts, everyone is encouraged to play.
Does everyone get equal playing time:
We cannot guarantee equal playing time, football is a physical sport and our #1 goal is to provide a safe atmosphere to learn and play the sport.  We work hard to get everyone involved but we will not put your child or anyone else in danger just to get people on the field.
What age can my kid start playing?
Kids can typically start playing tackle football in 5th grade.
What are the age groups?
We currently field teams in 5th-8th grade.  Ideally each grade will have their own team but due to participation the 5th and 6th grade may be combined.
Can my kid play up a grade?
We recommend that kids play with their own grade level, as mentioned safety is one of our priorities and it is in the best interest to play with the age group.  We understand special circumstances may exist, in order for any movement between teams an appeal must be made to the board.  The board along with the both head coaches will decide if an exception can be made to the rule.
What league do they play in?
Who participate in the Park Rock Football League.  It is a feeder league for the schools that participate, all players must reside in the school district they are representing.
